One of the largest EDM events in the world, Miami’s Ultra Music Festival is finally raving all the way to Tokyo, Japan. Followed by Ultra Europe, Korea, and others, it is definitely one of the Electronic Dance Music festivals everyone has been craving for. With massive line-ups such as HARDWELL, Martin Garrix, Alesso, Steve Angello, Axwell /\ Ingrosso and many more DJs that have made it big in the EDM scene, has set to play for the 2-day festival in Odaiba, Tokyo.
Ultra Japan tickets were sold out after a few weeks the headlines were announced. With a limited amount of tickets, true fans of EDM music did not waste any time and was ready to party big in Tokyo.
For the ones that couldn’t make it to the show because of limited tickets, the event was live streamed. It seems fair for both parties to live in the 2-day madness over and over again.
Day 1
Line-ups : ( Main Stage )
HARDWELL, Steve Angello, Kaskade, Martin Garrix, W&W, Morgan Page, Daishi Dance, Ksuke, Ale Mora, Banvox, Junior/Royal
Doors are set to open at 9a.m and the crowd was already big enough to conquer the whole venue. Everyone was ready with action-packed energy and good vibes. Japan is well known for their colorful and fun fashion and it was showed all over Odaiba. From the flower crowns to their colorful outfits, it seems to be a wave of rainbow walking along to the main stage.
Other than that, we witnessed a whole load of beautiful flags represent different countries. From Japan to Taiwan, Brazil, Malaysia, Thailand, USA, and many more, it is definitely a remarkable experience to gather so many different countries from around the world to share only one thing in common, the love for EDM music.
The party kicked off with Junior/Royal at the main stage dropping beats harder than ever. A massive amount of crowd has already begun to gather around the stage trying to get the best view of their favorite DJ. Followed by Banvox, Ale Mora, Ksuke and Daishi Dance, the party seems to be going pretty well with the non-stop raving and jumping.
As the party continues, the party seems to be getting better as W&W stepped in to the main stage. Amazing energy was delivered by both talented and amazing DJs. Martin Garrix tore the stage down as usual, followed by Kaskade and the legendary former Swedish House Mafia, Steve Angello.
World No.1 DJ, HARDWELL made his way up on stage as the crowd cheered and screamed at the top of their lungs. HARDWELL definitely deserved the title, for every beat he drops just blew everyone’s minds away. The night ended approximately 9.30p.m. Perfect time to head home safely and have a good rest for day 2.
Day 2

Familiar faces were seen walking into the venue for the second round of Ultra Japan. We are pretty sure everyone managed to have a good deal of rest for the last day of Ultra Japan.
As we have known, the crowd walked in with their amazing and outstanding outfits. Amazing and bubbly energy was tagged along in the beautiful morning. Dancing and cheering their way to the main stage for top quality EDM music, the party has just only begun.
DJ Mykris pops the party, as he is the first one to open for day 2 Ultra Japan. Amazing set followed by DJ Shintaro, Raiden, KZ, M-Flo and Far East Movement, nothings seems to tire or bore the crowd. In fact, so much energy was given out and all we can see was hands and flags waving up in the air.
Not to mention, other line-ups have made a very great performance on the other stage as well. Killing it hard with heavy beats and bass, the crowd on the smaller stage seems to be having a whole load of fun.
Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano made their way to the main stage with an amazing set. Next up Fedde Le Grand killing it as usual, followed by the 10 feet tall Afrojack that has killed it over and over again giving every crowd a piece of him to remember. Alesso kicked in right away after Afrojack set was over. The Swedish DJ and electronic dance music producer blew everyone’s mind away with the amazing upbeat set.
Last but not least, the moment everyone has been waiting for, former DJs from Swedish House Mafia, Axwell ^ Ingrosso made an unforgettable appearance on stage that has everyone going crazy. Their set was outstanding beyond any words can ever describe. Long time and loyal fans of Swedish House Mafia had their nostalgic feeling building up inside them.
Ultra Japan 2014 was a blast. With an amazing venue that is both convenient for the locals and tourist, from the amazing line-ups that has brought for us, we couldn’t sum it all well to describe the success of Ultra Japan 2014.
Ultra has definitely brought everyone around the world together to have a good time raving to Electronic Dance Music. We can’t wait for the next Ultra, until then, let’s live in the moment from Ultra Japan 2014 over and over and be reminded of the good music, good people and good vibes.
