As the dates for Ultra Korea 2019 slowly creep nearer and nearer, the third phase of their lineup has finally been released. Held from the 7th-9th of June, we can expect more than 90 artists to perform at Ultra Korea across the 3 days of madness.
To add on to the hype, the crowd-favourite Swedish House Mafia will be performing at the closing ceremony on Sunday. This will be the first time they will be performing together as a group here in Korea, having performed as the headlining DJs last year but as individuals.
The DJs headlining Ultra Korea includes artists such as Skrillex, Knife Party, Martin Garrix. Not only that, British house legends themselves – Hot Since 82 will be joining the RESISTANCE stage, along with sychedelic duo Infected Mushroom (Live), mosh pit master Kayzo, Main Stage favorite NGHTMRE and Canada’s genre-bending duo Zeds Dead, as well as Compton rapper YG have all been added and will perform this June.
Additional support from bart bmore, Brooks, DYRO, Josh Pan, Junior Sanchez, Marco Bailey, Matisse & Sadko, Slique, Whipped Cream and Young Bombs will ensure this year’s ULTRA Korea is one for the books.
As this is the festivals 8th year in session, some changes were made to spice things up. Gone is the old venue – the Seoul Olympic Stadium which is currently under renovation, and in is the new venue which has been decided to be the AMG Speedway in Yongin. Not only that, a strategic partnership with Korea’s leading mobility platform Kakao T to provide transport for people to and from the new venue. This will help aid people whom are travelling to this new and unfamiliar place with ease. To top it all off, there will be transport provided within the grounds of the site.
