The organizers of Future Music Festival Asia, Future Music Group Australia and Livescape Asia today announced its line-up for Day 2 of the Future Music Festival Asia 2014 weekend. Future Music Festival Asia next year will be a 3-day affair with the first and third day line-up set to be unveiled at a press conference on October 17.
Armin’s ‘A State Of Trance 650’ (ASOT650) show will take place on Friday, 14 March 2015.
Reigning world number one DJ, Armin Van Buuren, will be returning to Malaysian shores to host his live radio show ASOT 650 that will also boast one of its biggest line-ups to date which will include a host of DJs handpicked by Armin himself. Kuala Lumpur marks the only city after Miami where the ASOT show is being hosted in the same city for two years running.
The ‘A State of Trance’ is one of the most popular radio mix shows on the planet – with an estimated 25 million people across 26 countries worldwide set to tune in to Armin’s live event at ASOT 650 in Kuala Lumpur next year. ASOT 600 in 2013 attracted over 30,000 fans.
“Livescape Asia and Future Music Group Australia are very pleased to announce that Future Music Festival Asia 2014 will once again be presenting Armin Van Buuren’s legendary ‘A State of Trance’ show. This is something that we are really excited about because Armin himself has chosen to have ASOT return to Kuala Lumpur. So we hope our fans will be as excited as we are”, Iqbal Ameer, Director of local based Livescape Asia said.
Brett Robinson, the Director of Future Music Group Australia added, “With us already announcing our line-up in Australia, what I can reveal for now without giving away too much about the rest of the Future Music Festival Asia 2014 is that it is going to be our biggest line-up to date. With ASOT 650 confirming it will be returning to Kuala Lumpur to make up Day 2 of the FMFA 2014 weekend, this year’s festival is going to be one fans won’t want to miss”.
The epic Future Music Festival Asia that thrilled crowds of over 55,000 in March this year over two days is dubbed as the largest music festival to ever hit Southeast Asian shores. The festival next year is targeting to attract a massive 75,000 fans, including an influx of 20,000 tourists from across three days (13 – 15 March 2013) at a yet to be disclosed location. However, organizers Livescape Asia has previously hinted that the festival this year will likely take place at a venue closer to the city.
Venue and full line-ups of the first and third day of Future Music Festival Asia 2014 on 13 & 15 of March 2014 will be announced at a press conference scheduled to be held in mid October. Tickets to ASOT650 Kuala Lumpur will go on sale at 5.00PM, October 17 via http://redtix.airasia.com.
