The third and 2016 instalment of the highly- anticipated festival-cruise IT’S THE SHIP on the luxurious Royal Caribbean International cruiseliner, is set to be bigger, splashier with more than 60 acts from around the world for its full, covering multi music genres, with new shows and acts – alongside crowd- pleasers Knife Party, Andrew Rayel, Sander Van Doorn, Joel Fletcher, Marlo, and more.
The four-day IT’S THE SHIP, which sets sail on November 4 from Singapore to Penang and back to Singapore on November 7, is Asia’s largest and the world’s second biggest EDM festival cruise. It is expected to sell-out as in previous years. IT’S THE SHIP is organised by The Livescape Group.
THE FIRSTS THEMED NIGHTS
This year, IT’S THE SHIP will also see the introduction of exciting themed nights on multiple stages. On the first night, fans will be able to experience music from the talented pool of Australian DJs of Lucky Ent. who will be hosting the “Get Lucky” stage at the Hot Tub Time Machine featuring Kate Foxx, Joel Fletcher, Mashd N Kutcher, Some Blonde, Brooklyn, and Lucille Croft.
DEBUT ACTS & SHOWS
To mark IT’S THE SHIP’s debut of Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano’s, the charismatic Dutch duo will present their concept show, Sexy By Nature, for the first time in Asia.
On the final night of IT’S THE SHIP, Armada Night is poised to take over with Andrew Rayel, Marlo, David Gravell, Khomha, and Ben Gold helming the decks.
Last year’s festival saw some of the world’s biggest EDM headliners, to the likes of Kaskade, Showtek, Ferry Corsten, Carnage, Headhunterz, Will Sparks, and Peking Duk, joining over 50 other international and regional acts on the roster.
The 2015 festival, a sold-out event, saw 3,800 fans from 50 countries rubbing shoulders with some of EDM’s most recognisable faces.
IT’S THE SHIP 2016 takes place on the prestigious Royal Caribbean International cruise liner, Mariner of the Seas.
The 15-deck cruiseliner is one of the world’s largest, and it features a casino, rock climbing wall that overlooks the sea; a full sized basketball court; ice-skating rink; mini golf course; video game arcade; a duty-free shopping promenade; full service day spa; 10 pools and whirlpools; and 17 bars, clubs and lounges.

To mark the line-up announcement, IT’S THE SHIP is also releasing limited edition Boomboxes to the first 300 cabin purchasers from July 1 – 31 2016. The gift box is packed with a limited edition IT’S THE SHIP t-shirt, luggage tags, badge, temporary tattoos, a landyard and necklace.
