Driven by passion and passion alone, the team at Future Music Festival Asia has over the past few years set out with a goal of changing and impacting the live music scene in this region. When once it would seem impossible for an event of the scale of FMFA to take place here, we defied those odds for you because we knew the power it had to unite all of you regardless of race, religion, or cultural background.
To all the fans who have attended or supported FMFA throughout the last three years, we cannot thank you enough for sharing our dream. You’ve given all of us memories for a lifetime. Thank you for being a part of the Future Music Festival Asia team. We have always been very conscious in everything we do or plan, that the simple fact remains: there is no music festival without you, the fans, which is why you have always been at the top of our priorities. You were our inspiration.
Today Livescape Asia sheds a tear for this amazing music platform, and we stand proud of what we’ve pioneered and achieved – putting together a world-class show by first and foremost music fans ourselves for our fellow music fans, providing a platform to showcase what we believe are some of the best local and regional talents, some of whom are hugely underrated, and finally, we are proud to have played our role in contributing to the economies in our homes.
We ask that you don’t mourn FMFA, but rather look back, remember and keep the memories you’ve had at FMFA alive. While the sun sets and we say goodbye to Future Music Festival Asia, know this. A new dawn will arise. As our Founders said today “One chapter of the book is closed, 772 chapters to go”. See you all in March next year.
