Following the overwhelming demand and sell-out of their first show on 1 April 2017, Coldplay is thrilled to announce a second show for COLDPLAY – A HEAD FULL OF DREAMS TOUR in Singapore, on 31 March 2017 (Fri), 7.30pm at the National Stadium.
Tickets across all price categories will go on public sale via website sportshubtix.sg, hotline +65 3158 7888, and at Sports Hub Tix Box Office at Kallang Wave Mall and all SingPost outlets on 25 November 2016 (Fri) at 10am. There will be no presales.
Tickets will be capped at a maximum of 4 tickets across all categories per transaction.
1 APRIL SHOW
In addition, 2,200 tickets for CAT 5 (Standing Pen A) and 1,000 tickets for CAT 6 (Standing Pen B) will be opened up for the first show on 1 April 2017 (Sat). This is following the successful clearance given to expand the pitch standing capacity. These tickets will go on sale to the public also on 25 November 2016, 10am through all Sports Hub Tix outlets.
The highly anticipated return of Coldplay to Singapore after 8 years has been met with a tremendous response from Singapore and regional fans. Tickets for the first show were completely sold out within two hours of launch with just over 40,000 tickets taken up in total for the two presales – for Citi® card customers and Live Nation Lushington mailing list subscribers, and the public sale. Coldplay and Live Nation Lushington is truly appreciative to all the fans for their patience and support.
Efforts to clamp down on the secondary or resale tickets following the first show’s sell-out are also currently on-going and the artiste management is fully aware of the situation. Making ticket prices accessible has been top priority for both the promoter and the artiste management.
Fans are strongly advised to refrain from purchasing tickets through any of these authorised resellers as the tickets may have already been voided and there have been reported cases of scams.
COLDPLAY – A HEAD FULL OF DREAMS TOUR
Since March of this year, the A Head Full Of Dreams Tour has played to 2.5 million people across Latin America, the US and Europe. The show was created by the band alongside celebrated production designers Misty Buckley and Paul Normandale. The tour reaches Australia and New Zealand in December.
A Head Full Of Dreams has sold more than 5 million copies since its December 2015 release, spawning the hit singles Adventure Of A Lifetime, Hymn For The Weekend and Up&Up, with more than a billion YouTube video views between them.
Coldplay have announced a run of Asian stadium shows for the acclaimed A Head Full Of Dreams Tour, including the band’s first-ever concerts in Taiwan, the Philippines and South Korea. They last played Japan in 2014 and Singapore in 2009.
